Name: Na'di Pil'stinnie
Age: Twenty-five
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Race: Na'vi
Tribe: Alehuai
Mount: Pa'li named Hydra
Physical Description: As with all members of her race, Na'di has a cyan hue to her hairless skin, save for what appears on her head. Her eyes are a yellowish-green with an almost cat-like appearance. Na'di stands at a little above 9 ft. tall, which is fairly short for one of her race. It's a fact she's all too aware of and one she doesn't take too lightly. She keeps her "hair " predominately up-high and braided, as she's often moving around. For someone who "loathes" the human race, she has taken to emulating their style more often than not throughout her life.
Her style of clothing can be described as slightly controversial. At least, it used to be. Na'di had been known for wearing garments that covered most of her body. Shirts, shorts and footwear appealed to her in her youth. It wasn't until members of her own tribe called her out on her unorthodox appearance that she began to change her look, slightly. Now her look comprises of a variety of different things. She's known for wearing pieces of the land as part of her "look". Pieces from the Seas that have fallen before her have made up her look. That means, seashells, rocks and the shells of deceased animals have all become part of what she predominately wears now.
Na'di has a fairly curvier body than some of her People, however, she still retains her fairly slender physique. There is one unique aspect of Na'di and that is a dark marking on her left ankle. She's never questioned it, but it's extremely obvious in the day, as it goes completely around her entire ankle. Her left ankle is notoriously weaker than her right, and she's has the tendency to walk with a slight limp. She believes this is the reason of her shorter than normal stature among her people, though she believes that it was Eywa's Way and has learned to live with it.
Personality: Na'di, on the surface, can best be described as a stereotypical Alehuai Na'vi. Though she may not hate the Sky People as much as some of her other fellow clans members, she's not quick to go out of her way to protect or make peace with them either. She likes to keep her options open, but for the most part, she would rather the humans leave Pandora for good. Unlike some of the Alehuai, Na'di considers herself more of an opportunist. If there's a way for her to get what she wants, she's certainly not above finding a means.
In her younger days, she was a bit of a rebel. She purposefully wore things and spoke in the human tongue just to irritate those around her, namely her father and many other elders. She didn't bother think of the consequences of her actions and it was only because of her grandfather's interference that she soon learned to control her behavior. After that phase, Na'di became far more focused on obtaining certain goals for herself. She became rather obsessed with trying to be like her father, but she eventually gave up that dream in order to be a shipbuilder like her grandparents.
Na'di likes to think of herself as a resilient and determined person. Even though she has a slight handicap, a fairly weak left ankle, she hasn't let that stop her from pursuing any of her dreams. She's an excellent swimmer. Na'di never complained or spoke ill-will of others who were more fortunate than she was. She's a strong believer in Ewya and Her Ways, so to speak. In her mind, there was a reason she was not to be a warrior for her People. She was given skills in other areas. Her only wish was that her father would have appreciated her more when she was younger. She still believes that his lack of affection, coped with her mother's emotional issues prompted her "rebellious phase" earlier on.
Na'di tends to do and say things that usually get her into trouble. She has a tendency to say the wrong things to the wrong people at the wrong time. Every-time. It was what got her in trouble years ago and one of the few things she hadn't ever seemed to have grown out of, unfortunately. Though she tries to bite her tongue in matters that are almost always above her, she just feels the need to voice her opinion regardless of if anyone asked for it. She still likes to wear a few human-esque clothes here and there, but has tried to tone it down a little bit.
Through all of her faults, she still considers herself of The People. Even though she's not a warrior, she will defend her People if the moment calls for it. Her skills on her pa'li, Hydra, have increased over the years, making her a rather formidable foe, though she's self-taught in that area. She can be headstrong, even rebellious at times and an all around headache for those around her, but her love of her land, of Ewya and her People are strong and ever present.
Talents:
History: It was as if she had lived through the turmoil. She grew up listening to the horror stories of her People and would later come to realize that perhaps all was not as it should be in regards to the human race. Na'di Pil'stinnie was born on the 7th year after The Incident to mates Kaleo and O'lina Pil'stinnie. She was the couple's only daughter. Her father Kaleo, who preferred to go by one name, was a prominent speaker among the Alehuai clan, though never held high rank. He was respected, however. He was alive and fought with his People against the Sky People years prior and bore himself many scars in the process.
Kaleo never hid his distaste for humans and was one of the first ones to insist on their disposal. When the humans left, seemingly for good, Kaleo returned to his post, a decorated warrior. Na'di's mother, O'lina came from a fishing family. The Pil'stinnie name is inherited from her mother's side and she only took it on herself because she always felt more connected with her mother's side of the family. O'lina was herself a fierce warrior who fought with her betrothed during the Incident. Like Kaleo, she too bore scars from the event. Unlike her mate, she found it increasingly difficult to recover from the traumatic events of the past.
O'lina found herself having trouble conceiving. She attributed this to the humans nearly destroying her land. After making one final plea to Ewya, her wish was answered and Na'di was born. Initially, O'lina found motherhood difficult and it was discovered that her child had a severe scar on her left ankle preventing her from walking normally. Kaleo didn't hide his displeasure with the turn of events and began to neglect his daughter, even after she showed signs of behaving normally. That left her in the care of her emotionally distraught mother.
For the most part, Na'di was raised by many in her clan, predominantly her mother's parents. Instead of training her to be a warrior like her father originally wanted, she learned how to fish, swim and build ships. Though Na'di excelled in all three subjects, she couldn't hide the fact that she was different. She desperately wanted her father's approval and the only way she could get it was by getting stronger. She'd never be a good warrior, of that she was certain, but she was determined to make her ankle stronger so that she could at least defend herself and put up a fight.
By the time of her tenth year, Na'di was already an accomplished nautical expert, which was to be expected. Although she had no contact with humans, she was raised to dislike them as much as the rest of her clan. Because she grew up around older Na'vi, she was taught many of the stories first hand about humans; none of them were positive. As Na'di slowly began to grow older, her opinion of the world around her began to change much to her clans' disapproval.
As with many young people, Na'di began to rebel. Her style of clothing changed, as did her overall outlook regarding humans, or at least what she had been told of their style. She took to dressing like them and even sought to learn their language, which only further irritated her parents. She went to an elder in her clan, someone who had been taught the human language by humans several years prior for instruction. Her father was growing restless with his daughter, yet her behavior did not change. She blamed him for her attitude and sought to ruin his life's work because he was never there for her. Fortunately, O'lina's parents stepped in quickly. They had been her primary caretakers, after all.
She was given an ultimatum by her grandfather to behave or face the "hungry mouths of the humans", as it was put to her loosely. Na'di got her act together and reluctantly conformed to the Alehuai way of life. She remained, however, indifferent towards the human race, even though it was instilled upon her to feel differently. Most of her youth was spent rebelling against a system that didn't really need much rebelling against. It wasn't until she was old enough, twenty or so, to fully understand how incredibly naive she had been at one point.
Knowing that her only chance to finally prove herself worthy in her father's eyes may have already passed itself by, Na'di became intent on trying to focus her energy on something positive. She hadn't tapped into her potential and saw writing as a way to do that. It was a talent that she had kept secret for several years, finding little use to disclose of it to anyone. Over the years she had alienated herself from many other young Alehuai simply because of her backwards and unorthodox ways. She had always been a bit of a hermit and didn't find pleasure in having many friends.
Na'di simply busied herself with her writing. She wanted to showcase her skills to her people, hoping they would use it for the better good. However, her father was the premier orator and writer of the clan, even if it was rather unofficial and Na'di soon gave up the idea of making a name for herself in that field. Eventually, she returned to her first love: the Sea. Studying under her grandparents, she was successful in building her own ship and had plans on trying to see what the rest of the world had to offer. Of course, there was the one issue of sailing alone. She was not permitted, and couldn't even fathom being without someone, or someones and after a few months, managed to persuade a few other Na'vi of the same age to join her.
Her main goal had been to "find herself" with Ewya, alone. Eventually, she began to bond with the others who accompanied her on her journey and almost forgot her initial purpose for sailing. She hadn't been much social with Na'vi her own age and this had been a good time to try her hand at being normal. She and the others encountered several new creatures over the course of three years, however due to the inexperience of her shipbuilding, they were forced to return to land once the ship began to show signs of wear and tear.
Before she returned home, she met and conversed with many other Na'vi clans and with those who were more friendly with humans, took up learning their language once again. The adventure was just what she needed and when her ship was on its last legs, she made her way back to her home, a different Na'vi. No longer was she the naively, rebellious youth of her past. In its place was someone with knowledge and experiences. Though not the warrior he had once been, her father was forced to acknowledge his daughter and the two finally bonded.
After her journey, Na'di realized what she was born to do. As much as she wanted to be like her father, writing and speaking just wasn't for her. Her love of the sea was simply much too strong. She returned to her grandparents, intent on building another ship capable of withstanding tough elements since her first didn't work out too well. Currently, Na'di is in the middle of her massive project with her parent's approval and a new outlook on life. She hasn't let her little handicap effect her life. In fact, she barely notices it anymore. Right now, her main focus is her ship and once it's ready, she intends on using it.

Talents:
- Nautical Skills- As one should expect, Na'di's skills in reference to the sea are pretty impressive. She doesn't consider herself as proficient in her fishing skills as that of other clan members, but when it comes to swimming and ship building, she reigns supreme, or at least likes to believe that she does. Her grandparents were masters of the sea and she learned most of what she knows now at a very young age. Currently, she is building a warship.
- Writing Skills- This was a talent that not too many people even knew Na'di had. She followed after her father in that respect and soon took to writing stories, poems, speeches, etc. Many of her writings have been kept secret but there are a few pieces that have become fairly well-known among the Alehuai.
- Adaptability- After traveling Pandora over the course of several years, Na'di had to learn how to adapt in several new locations, among clans and other animals she had never before encountered. She found adapting to new life rather easy and exciting and had no problems or fears of fitting in. Sure, she's got the weak ankle bit and her tendency to mouth off, but all in all, she has never had an issue being one of the people and blending in.

The sounds of the sea was crashing up against the beach, but she didn't dare say or do anything. Oddly enough, it was peaceful and calming to her and she wanted the rest of her life to be just like this. Na'di Pil'stinnie, who wasn't a person of high rank or profile, sat alone today. Her eyes were closed and she was deep in thought, though it was something that seemed to play over in her mind constantly. The humans had always been a constant source of aggravation for her and she normally found herself in the middle.[/blockquote]
If she was being completely honest with herself, she had no real opinion of the "inferior" race. They never bothered her any, yet, she understood why there was such hostility. After all, they nearly destroyed everyone's way of life not that long ago. The memory was certainly still fresh in everyone's mind, hers included. She was waiting for some sort of sign to tell her what to do. She always waited. Ewya had ways of showing her the path to take. Sometimes, however, Na'di found herself too impatient to wait and often ended up causing more trouble for herself. This time would be different.
When she finally opened her eyes, a breeze of content was all over her face. She looked around and could see off in the distance many of her peers. Remaining bitter because she could not partake in demands deemed for warriors was something she no longer saw any interest in. In fact, she had finally come to accept her role in life. She could not ride an ikran and that was perfectly okay. She could ride her pa'li, Hydra, at least. Should there ever be a need for her services, she was always more than willing to do whatever needed done. For the greater good.
She repeated the phrase over and over again in her mind, the disgust evident. What did that exactly mean? Even she wasn't sure. Na'di had never been privy to important information and sometimes felt like an outsider among her own people. She didn't care much for external affairs. If it didn't concern her directly, it wasn't any of her business, she felt. They were plotting something; she could feel it. Most certainly it was the destruction of those humans. She had learned many of their ways through unconventional means and had even retained the knowledge of their customs and language, much to the annoyance of many. To them, it was just Na'di being Na'di.
Na'di finally stood to her full height, which was a little more than 9 ft. tall. The wind was blowing more fiercely now, yet the temperature remained warm and constant. Her braided hair was flapping about in ways that she found entirely irritating. That had been the reason she felt compelled to braid it. She looked out at the sea once again, wondering what it would bring her today. She wasn't in much of a mood for adventure and figured that something would come to her. As she left the edge of the beach and turned her back to the sea, Na'di stopped moving.
She heard a voice far off in the distance. It was a voice that sounded eerily familiar to her. Her eyes widened and she tried to get a visual, yet she couldn't make anything out. Instead, she just stood there, slightly curious, mainly confused. "Aynga, za'u!" Na'di pointed at herself and the incoming figure nodded intensely. She did as she was told and followed the other person until she could see the back of his face. "What do you want?" She asked in English, her thick accent obvious. The other person turned around, clearly offended. "Sempul?!" She hadn't seen or spoken to him in several years. His presence here now confused her, yet she stood there in complete silence.
