Okay, so I'm breaking this off from the other thread to keep track of who's going to be in this thread. This is the one pertaining to the humans having a bit of a mixer to get to know each other.

Anyhow, I'm slightly buzzed and thus in the perfect mood to write the intro post for the housewarming thread if it en't already up. Damn grammatical rules, full speed ahead!

Out of genuine curiosity: why?

My thinking: Any thread with many characters will be an experiment in the controlled chaos of personality chemistry; plus, the aim isn't so much to move the plot along as give all the human characters a jumping-off point, a baseline with all the other characters in the compound. Presumably, they've spent the past six years in flight together (albeit unconscious most of the way) and a relaxed social situation is the easiest way to establish said baseline.
