Finally, some peace and quiet. Hours of careful exercises and training had left Jai'taw tired and famished. The man had packed up a small lunch for himself and along with his usual repertoire of weapons. He had a place in mind, a small lagoon down a gully not too far from Hometree. It was rare that Jai would go to take a moment such as this for himself, but sometimes, it was just plain pleasant to relax and let one's guard down. An almost hour long trek through the jungle would lead him to his little hiding spot. As Jai approached it, a tiny smirk touched his lips. Golden eyes scanned over the area to make sure it was unoccupied. A tiny waterfall emptied into the lagoon, easily seen through the crystal clear waters was the root structure that webbed on the floor of the lagoon. A large, flat white rock sat on one side of it, with part of the massive stone in the water itself.
Jai climbed down into the small gully and waded around the edge of the lagoon in its shallows until he got to the large, flat rock. He placed his bit of food up onto the rock before Jai pulled himself up to sit on the edge of it. The Na'vi pondered on what he should do first, take a dip to help relax and soothe his aching muscles? Or eat his meal. A stomach grumble would show him the way. A piece of sun-dried jerky and a juicy fruit later, and Jai was satisfied. After he let himself digest his food for a bit, the warrior began to remove his various tools of the trade. His war axes were removed, as well as his blowgun and clawed gauntlets. The weapons were set into a small pile in the middle of the stone where the water wouldn't get to them.
With a quick few steps and a leap Jai dove into the crystalline waters of his lagoon, the cool rush of water invigorated the man's muscles. He broke the surface and sighed with delight. It was rare indeed to see the warrior Jai act so. Jai closed his eyes and floated on his back for a while, he just enjoyed the sounds of the jungle and the feel of the sun on him. Just before Jai felt himself begin to snooze, he shook his head and kicked over to the stone where his stuff lay. Once more the Na'vi pulled himself onto the stone, but this time, he lay there on his back with his feet in the water still. His skin prickled as the sun began to dry it. Another slight smirk touched his lips, Eywa sure did provide when needed...
