Heroes are born when a mortal falls in love with an immortal and they have children together. The watered down bloodline of the gods makes what we once called Heroes. Thought to be an extincted race, and the gods to be nothing but Myths, all lies told to keep people from knowing the truth. Gods do exist and you might just be a demi-god yourself!
Greek gods and goddesses have never been faithful to their beloved spouses nor can they resist their urges against the beautiful mortals of the world. Whether you are a homely librarian or a gorgeous television scarlet, you might just turn the eye of one of the gods and have them woo you into having their children... which is where Catalyst Academy comes into play.
The Academy is a place where Hero children are sent by their mortal parents to get the proper training they need. In the real world, Hero children never fit in. Far too strong, intelligent or even mischievous for their own good, they bring tragedy and pain where ever they go but in the closed environment of Catalyst academy, with other children like them, they can have the freedom and the help they need to properly control their god like strengths and become the heroes they were meant to be.
