Name: Kiri ~Kee-ree~
Age: 17
Secret Word: Already Given
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Homosexual
Race: Na'vi
Tribe: Alehuai
Mount: N/A
Physical Description:
Kiri is a stunning young woman. She stands at a mere eight feet tall right now, short for a Na'vi, but she is still young. Her facial features are still a little rounded from youth, but she has proud high cheekbones, a small mouth that always seems to be smiling, and bright yellow-green eyes. The girl's hair is raven colored, a blue sheen visibly seen in sunlight. Kiri keeps her hair shorter, a pair of small pigtails split her hair in half and it hangs from her hairline at her neck. Her skin is a bit lighter in color, and her markings are more purple than blue.
Her body is slighter than most Na'vi, the girl very thin with no real definition of her muscles. But she does have some muscles, she isn't a complete weakling. She is however, very flexible and quick on her feet because of this. Kiri's breasts are slightly smaller than her sisters of the Alehuai, but her butt is firm and perky. She has a single scar on her body, a long line that goes from the side of her left knee up to mid-thigh, a gift from one of Pandora's sea predators.
When it comes to clothing, Kiri keeps things simple. Her top consists of a small, silk-like shawl that covers her breasts and her back down to her shoulder blades. The shawl is a deep blue color and is lined by pale green. Her lower garments are similar in color, matching with the shawl. A loincloth is worn low on her body, the front of it is long, reaching just below her knees, but the back is open for the most part. Jewelry wise Kiri is quite fond of it, she wears a black leather choker as well as a glistening white pearl necklace her mother made. On her wrists she wears sea-shell bracelets she made herself.
Personality:
Kiri is a very sweet natured person in general, the kindness she possesses is only matched by her love for Eywa. She loves being around others, but mostly listens in on what others are saying that speaking herself. Kiri sometimes doesn't understand her tribe, as her mindset is completely different than most. Where many of the Alehuai are hunters and warriors, Kiri is a healer of her people. Patience, tenderness, and intelligence are her ways.
There are very few people that Kiri doesn't love unconditionally, she knows most of the Alehuai tribe almost by name- her naturally good memory helping with that greatly. She always greets everyone with a big smile and open arms, her habit with greetings is always a hug and a kiss on each cheek. Kiri is warm to all, and her motions gentle when dealing with others. She is very observant, taught to see every little detail and take note of it. It is next to impossible to anger or upset, but if anyone threatens her, she won't take any risks- she will disarm the aggressor.
Her knowledge of anatomy is impressive for one her age. She has been taught where each nerve lies, each vein flows, and every muscle moves. This has allowed her to be very good with disarming people- either verbally or physically. When an argument breaks out among her tribe, Kiri will do what she can to calm the people down, a gentle touch and soft word her weapons of choice- though she has been know to pinch a nerve or two to get her point across.
She is very secretive about her sexual orientation, but would never lie about it. If someone openly asks her in private, she will be honest with them, for the most part. If it's someone coming on to her, a new side of Kiri is shown. A timid, quiet, intimidated Kiri appears, unable to make eye contact with the person. Luckily for her, this has only happened once before- but the prospect of another time makes her excited and nervous.
Talents:
Healer: Kiri is an apprentice in the healing arts for her people. She has studied her species anatomy extensively, and even in her young years, is very well learned in it. She could tell you where every vein, artery, nerve, muscle and organ is, as well as how to diagnose if something is wrong with it. Kiri doesn't tell anyone, but this enhanced awareness of Na'vi anatomy allows her to be an amazing masseuse, if needed.
Agility: Since Kiri has no real skills in fighting, her mentor has taught her how to avoid any sort of attacks using her natural grace and flexibility. She can move very quickly, taught to strike at the right time when needed. Her 'attacks' are light and at first might not feel like anything, but her enhanced knowledge allows her to know when and where to strike, mostly going for nerves that cause paralysis or passing out.
Herbalism: Kiri's healing arts extend to more than just the Na'vi body. She has been taught which herbs and plants do what, making her knowledge of Pandora wildlife impressive. If her people were on better standings with the sky people, they could greatly benefit from a healer's knowledge.
History:
Kiri was born seventeen years ago. She was the daughter of a pair of gatherers for the Alehuai clan. A sociable girl, Kiri was never seen far from any of her friends growing up, something her parents were grateful for- they always knew where she was. At first, her parents were unsure as to what type of work would suite their daughter best, and had problems deciding. However, the Tsahik had plans for her already. One of the clan healers, Sevin, had her eye on the young girl.
It turned out that the natural openness that Kiri had was exactly the type of attitude needed to be a healer. At age seven Sevin began teaching the young girl all she knew. Kiri proved to be a quick learner, and a good student. This pleased her mentor, which pleased Sevin. All sorts of herbs and other flora were parted unto her, the girl had a really good memory that helped her remember all the details she needed.
Once Sevin was pleased enough with Kiri's progress, she started to teach the young girl what she also felt was dire to learn. Flexibility, avoidance, and quick thinking were all taught to Kiri- her mentor explained that a healer can't heal someone if they are injured too. This made sense to Kiri, so she tried her hardest with Sevin's lessons, no matter how harsh they were. She would come back to her parents at the end of the day with bruises or small scratches, proof that she had worked hard.
By the time she turned thirteen, Sevin allowed Kiri to start to treat members of the Alehuai. This excited the teen, her want to use her gained skills for the good of the clan was almost overwhelming. Kiri's tender touch and calm disposition helped keep her fellow Alehuai at ease, and her knowledge helped ease them of their maladies. She wasn't alone though, other healers had picked young Alehuai to train. Kiri began to notice one particular student around the time she turned fifteen, a girl a year older than her and so gorgeous Kiri felt stunned when she looked at her.
Little did Kiri realize, but this same girl had been watching her as well. One morning she went out for a dip in the sea farther away from the village. It was rare for any sort of predator to come so near to the village, but a ray-like beast saw fit to whip Kiri's leg with it's stingers. The pain wracked her body until she nearly passed out, just barely able to pull herself onto the shore of the sea before darkness fell.
She awoke not long later to find herself bandaged around her thigh, and the shapely back of a Na'vi female turned towards her. She was terrified when Kiri realized that the owner of the back was the very girl she had been watching. Kiri watched paralyzed as the girl turned around to apply a salve onto the sting, and her smile entranced Kiri. The girl called herself Lei, and told Kiri that she had seen how she stared at her. Kiri couldn't get a word out before Lei leaned in, and planted a kiss on her lips. She couldn't explain it, but that one kiss shared with Lei, was the best feeling she had ever experienced. Lei and Kiri didn't carry on any relationship after that moment, Kiri felt to awkward and confused to continue, and Lei was fine with it.
At sixteen Sevin was sure that she couldn't teach Kiri anything more. She informed the olo'eyktan that the young woman was ready to be a full healer. A small ceremony with the healers and Kiri's family would seal her final fate. Kiri was proud of the work she had put into her lifestyle, and would continue to aid her people for this time.
When the Sky People returned, she was confused at all the hate turned towards them. In her time studying under Sevin, she never mentioned them, so Kiri had no real opinion on them. She has yet to meet any of them, and from how her tribe has described them, she feels some distrust towards them, but not the blatant hate many do. Part of Kiri really wants to see what these aliens look like and act like, but the other part is frozen with terror at the mere thought.
