Name: Ne'vari
Age: 22 in human years
Secret Word: Sent to account.
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Race: Na'vi
Tribe: Itami
Mount: Pa’li. Name: Su’le, Color of skin: deep blue with soft white and yellow stripes all around his body and light peach colored undersiding on his belly, Eyes: darker golden color, Body: some scarring all over his body from fighting with other Pa’li for dominance and territory and mates before he made the bond, Personality: very overprotective over Ne’vari and aggressive to what he considers threats or dangers to her or those he has accepted as non-threats, he also cares deeply for Ne’vari and her friends as he comforts her with his rather large body.
Physical Description: Ne’vari is around the height of 9 foot 11. Her skin is of a lighter blue color and she is blind in both eyes, both of them having a somewhat glassy looking shine to them as they still have some of their golden hue. She had long dark blue stripes that encompass her body lightly on her torso, arms, legs, tail, and the rest of her and has small dark blue dots on her body as well. Her black hair is in one single long braid and is usually just hanging down along her back but sometimes she wears it in multiple braids over her shoulder for special events. She wears beads and small trinkets around her neck for being a healer of the tribe that covers her chest and a long waist cloth that almost touches the ground.
Her hands and body are a little scarred from her skin being easy to bruise and bleed and from some rough rides with Su’le and from not being completely aware of her surroundings due to her blindness. Her body is very lean and very toned, her abdomen especially with her legs and arms having some tone as well. She has some muscle in her small and delicate like frame, but she is still not as heavy as some of the female warriors that are part of the Itami tribe.
One her necklace of beads and many trinkets, Ne’vari has her most prized trinket being the tooth of a Nantang, which was a creature her father had defeated as a small boy and took the tooth as a symbol of his bravery as he fought for his life. When she was younger, unknowing to her, a Nantang attacked her from behind and left deep scratches along her back as she was gathering berries and other fruits and wheats for the tribe for a ceremony. Over time, the scars had faded softly but are still bold enough to see from a relatively close distance.
Personality: Ne’vari is very kind and caring and tries to the best of her ability to make sure that she works as hard as she can to get the best results. She is also very protective over the people that she cares for most and tries to make sure that everyone is happy and tries to comfort those who aren’t.
She is very over emotional and keeps thinking that she is partially or fully responsible for things that go wrong, even if she is not associated with the problem at all. She can be short-tempered at times but usually she is rather quiet and shy, sometimes not even prone to say something unless she is spoken to. She can be a little naïve at times with thinking that everyone she will meet will want to be friends but comes to learn, of course, that that isn’t always true. She also loves music very much, especially at all of the dancing and ceremonies that are held with the tribe, as well as interacting with the creatures. She especially loves to ride through the plains with Su’le and sometimes she camps out there to check on potential threats to the clan but also just to enjoy the peace of Eywa.
Ne’vari is also very independent and serious with her work, but sometimes she longs for a life-mate that would take her for who she is and love her all the more, but she has doubts that any male of the tribe would want to choose her. Although she loves to do her work and tries her hardest, a lot of the time, her lack in self-confidence makes her think that none of what she does is good enough and that the results could always be better, even if she did save someone, she thinks she could have done more.
Talents: With having such a strong and unique bond with Su’le, Ne’vari is a very strong rider, able to travel long distances with him to find healing food and medicine for the tribe and come back within the same day. She has a very good ability from her other practical senses of touch, taste, and scent of which herbal plant and fruit is which and has many different remedies stored within her mind from her years of training with her healing teachers.
She also has been working on a development with seeing without her eyes, but rather with the energy that is around her, getting an ‘outline’ of what is around her. Also with her loss of sight, her other four senses have become more acute which helps her to get a little more of an understanding of what is around her.
History: Ne’vari was born near the People of the Seas as the Itami tribe had settled there for just a few nights to follow some herds they had been tracking. After a long night of difficulty, Ne’vari’s mother died while giving birth to her and her father took her in and cared for her greatly, saddened at the loss of his life-mate and never mated with another female of the tribe. When she was born, some of the elders thought that Ne’vari was a sign from Eywa that would show a dark future for the tribe with famine, disease, and death since her small body was she was blind unlike all of the other children.
Unfortunately, it was not long after Ne’vari’s mother had died that her father had died as well while trying to hunt for food for the tribe. Left with no other family, the healers decided to take her in as their pupil and train her in the ways of healing as they saw her as a different Na’vi, one that would try to connect with Eywa and heal the People rather than the child being a sickness and a sign of plague to the tribe.
As Ne’vari grew up, she was always a curious child, asking many questions, trying to find the answers to those that others could not answer for her, and loved learning how to help treat others. Her love for learning and medicine kept growing as she would spend many hours on end trying to find more remedies from the plants and animals that Eywa had provided for them. As she grew though, she had always had a fear and yet a strange curiosity for the humans. Her teachers told her of the old days where they had destroyed the Hometree of another clan and had brought death upon everything they had touched on the planet Pandora and had even tried to erase the very existence of Eywa herself from the people.
Though she feels strongly against what the humans had done in the past, she can’t help but feel sorry that they did not worship their Mother on their planet and try to keep her happy. More time however elapsed as Ne’vari grew into a beautiful young woman and is at the age of being ready to be chosen as a mate. But with everyone in fear of her with her blind eyes as a sign of darkness for the people, how can she find happiness now?
RP Sample: The sun rose and shined high over the long plains of Pandora as the Pa’li were grazing in the masses of long purple grasses that stretched out as far as the eye could see. A soft wind would blow occasionally across the plains as the grasses waved in the winds in streaming patterns as the manes and tails of the Pa’li were gently blown as well.
Su’le snorted as he stood towards the temporary camp of the Itami tribe as he looked out towards all of the females that were his mates and all of the other Pa’li males that would try to challenge him. His large chest expanded and contracted deeply as he gently scratched his hoof upon the grasses under him.
“Su’le, I don’t think there is any need for you to worry,” giggled a voice lightly behind the Pa’li with a light air as Su’le felt a warm and familiar hand stroke his back as he felt it make its way to his face as he saw the familiar blue skin.
Su’le turned his head slightly as he saw his rider walk towards him and scratch his hide gently as she stroked his mane. Her long black hair softly shined under the brilliant light of the sun as her skin glowed like a blue gem stone as her glassy blind eyes lit up with joy.
“You are strong, Su’le, and the younger males know that. Your beloved females will still be yours for a very long time,” assured Ne’vari gently as Su’le snorted and shook his head a little as his mane flopped from side to side on his neck as he gently keened at Ne’vari and rubbed his head against hers, while she kindly returned the head-rubbing gesture.
Smiling at feeling Su’le at ease, Ne’vari took a hold of her long braid as she made her bond with her partner as she climbed onto his back as he snorted gently and sneezed as Ne’vari looked out towards the plains ahead of them.
“Forward, towards the rivers, Su’le,” thought Ne’vari in her mind as Su’le whinnied out and raced towards the direction of the flowing rivers, his large hooves beating firmly against the ground as their target destination slowly drew more near.
Eywa has not given her tears from the heavens to the plains for a few weeks and the natural plants had been dying out slowly but in great numbers. This concerned Ne’vari greatly as she tried to scavage for as much as she could to help heal her tribal members back at camp and she did not want to deal with the emotional pain of being unable to do much for her people when rations would get low. She promised to herself that she would stop at nothing to make sure that her people would be taken care of, not matter how far she had to travel, no matter how long it had to take for her to get those herbs. Her tribe…her family would not be left to die…Never.
