Na'vi Name: Loreyu, or "beautiful spiral"
Botanical Description: Tall, herbaceous zooplantae with animal-like nervous system. Single large spiral orange leaf. Responds to touch by coiling up and retracting rapidly into the ground.
Height: 6 - 8 meters
Spread: Leaves can be 2.5 meters wide
Ethnobotany: Leaves used to make ornate ceremonial robes. Orange pigments in leaves extracted and used for paint.
