The Past
The cats had come from far away looking for a safe haven, away from the greed and shadows of the world. They took the forbidden portal to the world of Mists. It was said that this world turned friends into enemies, but the refugees saw none of these consistences. The Cats broke into large groups and each claimed a piece of land. Those who had an affinity for illusions chose to live in the open under the sky. They became known as Sunshine Phasers. They had learned and passed down the secret of teleporting. Those who couldn't live without the trees chose to live in the forest and held the secret of levitation. They became known as the Moonlight Stalkers.
The Present
Some cats aren't happy with the current status of the territories. Some hate being parted with old friends and/or family, though these are few and far between. There are also some who see profit in the unrest of the forest, these there are more of. They tend to feed the feelings of resentment. For they dream of absolute power over the forest. Will their dreams be realized or will a new beginning be born out of the ashes of dispare?
