Euri'nach is your typical female Na'vi. Her structure, like most others of her kind, is slender and lean, well defined, and toned for the lifestyle as a Na'vi. She has a delicate grace laced into her nature, and her eyes do not show harshness, but rather curiosity and warmth. They are large, and a brilliant yellow color - that seems to glow with her inner spirit, are accompanied by long black eyelashes. Her eyes are rather large, even within their species' normal look. She has two darker, more unique lines across the tops of her eyes, which may be a bit rare... but serves to draw more attention, again, to her eyes.
The female's ears are also a bit longer, and set a bit higher on her head than most others. This, again, seems to be a distinguishable feature that was passed down from her mother. Her hair is on the dark side, as is common with Na'vi, but Euri'nach's is a bit lighter in spots, bearing almost purple and bluish tones to it in varying degrees of light. It is not straight, but wavy a bit unruly near the top of her head, and falls past her shoulders into the traditional braid of her people. This is yet another feature of Euri'nach that is a bit different than others. She often wears it back due to her position as a Täftxuyu (weaver). Her hands are skilled, gentle, and swift from her experience as a weaver, and the Bioluminescent spots and markings that protrude from her skin seem to be a mixture of blue, white, and even flecks of gold; there are more cluttered patterns beneath her eyes, on her chin, and of course down her arms.
Aside from those distinctive features, Euri'nach is of average height, strength, and weight - for a female of her age from the Na'vi race. Her nature is incredibly graceful - as can be said for most of the Na'vi people. Euri'nach moves and walks with an air of confidence, but also humility. She is not over-confident, nor confrontational in most given situations. The female is well aware of her purpose in the tribe, and that purpose seems to exude from her very essence.
P E R S O N A L I T Y:
intelligent - Her father and mother have raised their daughter to follow her heart, and gut instinct, in all given situations. She was raised in a very open environment,; her parents believing in honesty and enlightenment, even at a young age. While her mother bestowed on her the wisdom behind weaving, their family history, their music and rituals... her father bestowed on her the wisdom of their land, their culture, and the morals he had learned as a warrior. Truth be told, Euri'nach could not have been happier to have two, consistent resources as she grew up... teaching her, and shaping her into the young woman she is today. She has kept many of their teachings with her, and tries to live up to their pride, honor and their dignity.
mischievous - While composed and elegant, Euri'nach is a female with many sides. One, happening to be her more mischievous side. This isn't a malicious quality, and she does not use this playful attitude to embarrass or humiliate others in a childish way... but at times, she throws caution to the wind, and engages in fun activities and games simply for the FUN of it. She enjoys adventure like everyone else, and a good run or game doesn't hurt anyone. This aspect of her personality certainly comes in hand with her curious nature... so much so, that she may venture off in the hopes of discovering answers, or exploring things that catch her interest. She tries not to let this side of her personality out too much, since her family is quite rigid in their position and overall demeanor (not rigid in a bad sense, but they uphold themselves well, and are incredibly dedicate to their clan). However, when Euri'nach is in the right mood, or surrounded with the right people, this side can come out.
creative - Being a weaver doesn't necessarily allow for amazing adventures, death defying stunts or many near-death experiences... however, it does allow Euri'nach the opportunity to be creative, and to help her clan by contributing to their lifestyle. The process of weaving has been passed down from generation to generation, and clearly, even within Euri'nach's own family - as her mother, too, is a weaver. Euri'nach began learning at an early age, and took to it extremely well. Granted, she had the choice of following her father's path, that of a warrior, or her mother's. While she had the chance to potentially become a warrior, Euri'nach made the decision to take up her role as a weaver. She could always take care of herself, but had more of an interest in creating things; weaving, building, mending. Her creativity is not simply limited to weaving, however. She also finds particular interest and joy in other areas, like song and dance.
mysterious allure - While many females that are the same age as Euri'nach have already begun to find mates... she has not. It is not that Euri'nach doesn't WANT love. Like everyone, she hopes to one day find her soul mate. But that time will come organically, and she is not going to force anything. Despite her relaxed nature toward the subject of a mate, Euri'nach is quite nervous about the idea of being chosen. She exudes a mysterious allure that many find intriguing. She has never been one to flaunt herself, nor try and coax friendships out of anyone. It is an unexplainable, unfathomable grace that simply blossoms from the way she moves, her voice, and the warmth in her eyes. Her reluctance to embrace the feelings of her heart may be due to her past hardship, but she's slowly attempting to fix that.
defensive & tempermental - A trait notable in her father, who while a good warrior, certainly had his bouts of anger and snap judgments. Euri'nach does her best to try and control that small temper that bubbles within her... but sometimes, pending the situation and reason of course, her temper can get the better of her, and she can quickly become quite defensive. Now she has never been particularly 'harsh' to anyone in a sense that her temper will cause her to tease or lash out at anyone unprovoked.... however, WHEN provoked, she can certainly stand up for herself, and tends to do so a bit defensively. Of course these random bouts of her short temper make her feel appropriately guilty afterward, even if it was justified. Unfortunately, her pride will not allow her to simply deliver an easy apology.
curious - Euri'nach's curiosity can certainly have it's ups and downs. She seems at peace with her home and the world around her, and doesn't seem to rail against change, or new things. In fact, Euri'nach is rather curious about what she does not know. What makes her so curious and interested in the world she lives in (and the world outside it), is what she can learn from others, and what new things she might be able to experience. Euri'nach is loyal to her own clan of course, but that does not need to be synonymous with the fear of what lies outside it. Euri'nach does not believe all humans are bad, despite the actions of a few. Granted, this curious nature of hers can get her into a bit of trouble at times - but those times are few and far in between. Most of the time, Euri'nach is a responsible young female. Most of the time.
quiet & reserved - Not as boisterous, outgoing or outspoken as some other Na'vi she has come into contact with, Euri'nach has an elegant presence to her. She is not rebellious, nor does she talk back in harsh anger or with rash emotion. On the contrary, Euri'nach is very centered; loyal to her family, her people, and her own beliefs. Naturally, it is impossible to keep one's emotions in check constantly - but she DOES make the conscious effort to try. Her position as a weaver may be due to this particular trait. Euri'nach keeps her head down, and performs her own duty as a weaver. It is not much - but she believes that there is a certain degree of honor to it. She is helping her clan in her own way.
stubborn - A bit of a personal setback for Euri'nach, and a potential issue of conflict between her and certain tribe members, is her stubbornness. It is undoubtedly something that she gets from her father. While Euri'nach is a level headed female, she is quite stubborn... and hates to be told what to do - or worse, what NOT to do. Her overall gentle nature and appearance may have something to do with being conceived as 'helpless'... but Euri'nach is far from it. This stubbornness does not simply relate to pride, but also other aspects of her life in the tribe. She will not complete her weaving until she is certain it is flawless, and she is determined to find her own path in this life without anyone telling her, or 'suggesting' to her what that might be or how she should go about it.

History:
Euri'nach was born to a prideful couple by the names of Alci'nach (her father, a warrior) and Kit'orih (her mother, a weaver) in the spring season. She was loved by both her father and mother, and grew up listening to their wise words, and sound advice. Her childhood was not not out of the ordinary, as far as young Na'vi children go. She did not rebel, nor did she ever argue with her parents. On the contrary, Euri'nach was well behaved, quiet, and paid close attention to what she was told by her parents, and the other teachers in the clan. While her mother bestowed on her the wisdom behind weaving, their family history, their music and rituals... her father bestowed on her the wisdom of their land, their culture, and the morals he had learned as a warrior. Though granted, being a warrior, Alci'nach had survived many battles... and was sure to warn his daughter about the dangers of the outside world. Her mother was a bit more understanding, and attempted to reinforce the 'fears' as mere 'cautions'... since while their clan was trustworthy, unknown strangers may not be so courteous, forgiving, or merciful.
For a brief period in her life, Euri'nach was a bit apprehensive about wandering around alone, or venturing into areas she did not know. But as she grew older, her curious nature, also, grew. Though she kept that voice inside her quiet - it was always in the back of her mind during lessons, while she listened to her father speak and teach her, and while her mother instructed her about their family, their life and their people. When Euri'nach was dawning her pubescent years - her mother and father asked her about her future; what she would like to peruse, how she would like to help the clan when she came of age. Because of Alci'nach's experience as a warrior, and Kit'orih's experience as a weaver - their daughter was given a fair chance to choose what she might want. Euri'nach chose to become a weaver, and follow after her mother; she did not feel it necessary to prove to herself, or anyone else, that she was a strong, capable young female... simply by joining the ranks of the warriors or hunters. Needless to say, her father was rather relieved, though he was sure to let her know he was in NO way disappointed with her decision.
As she began to learn how to weave properly (as handed down by generation after generation) - it was in her pubescent years as a young female that Euri'nach felt her first touch of love. A young man by the name of Bor'sliqe had grown up with Euri'nach - and the two had shared similar friends as children. They had all played together and grown together, and up to that moment, Euri'nach had considered him nothing but a friend. But as he began his venture to become a warrior, he was part of a small grouping that was to be trained by her father. This gave the two more opportunity to see one another... and gradually, Euri'nach felt herself growing more and more fond of the young male. Of course, she kept these feelings to herself, and was sure that the fondness growing within her was not in vain.
Unfortunately, Bor'sliqe was unaware of Euri'nach's feelings... and one night, while they spoke in confidence, relayed to her that he had fallen in love with another female. Euri'nach was heartbroken and hurt initially, but her strong heart supported Bor'sliqe, and encouraged him to make that particular female his mate once his rights were passed. Those first feelings of love are hard to overcome, and since then, Euri'nach has not been so foolish or fair in her affections. But those feelings and that particular heartache was put aside for her rite of passage; the Uniltaron. Hers was particularly insightful (as many are). Her power animal turned out to be a Direhorse. The direhorse is a perfect mount to ride in the obstacle-strewn close quarters of a Pandoran forest; direhorse can turn on a dime, have excellent reaction times, and can leap large distances. Direhorses are the perfect warfare mount for the Na'vi, and played a crucial part in the showdown between the Na'vi and humans. Direhorses are an important part of many Clans *[1]
Oddly enough, Euri'nach was pleased to have this relation to her power animal... and saw aspects of herself mirrored in their own traits; graceful reflexes, being an important part of the tribe (though not necessarily in a warefare sense) and an overall calm nature, save when provoked or in danger.
With her own rites of passage passed as a weaver, and now a young woman (recently turned twenty-six) .... Euri'nach is very much her own person. The events of the past few years have had an impact on her - just like everyone else. Her mother, sadly passed away due to an unfortunate incident involving some viperwolves. Euri'nach and her father took the loss hard. The healing has begun, and slowly, the female is accepting that her mother is still present... but only in spirit. Her father has become a bit more protective of Euri'nach since the loss, but tries hard to let his daughter continue to grow. And she has. Euri'nach has flourished in the warmth and education her parents and clan have provided her with, and she contributes as a weaver. Now that she is older, Euri'nach's initial tentativeness toward the outside world or 'new' things has vanished. Despite what her father may caution, Euri'nach does not believe all humans are bad, despite the actions of a few.
For now, though, she is content with her life; weaving, meditating, exploring, and continuing to discover who she is, and what she wants.

It was a peaceful morning. At least, so far. Her eyes had opened with the rise of the sun; peaking through the trees and flooding gently through the weave of her hammock. The distant native birds of the forest called out melodically - their song always so alluring to Euri'nach with the promise of a new day.
The female had gotten up early like many other Na'vi, preparing for their usual day. For her, it involved a bit of weaving... but thankfully, she more or less had today to herself. She planned to make the most of it too. Perhaps a bit of aimless wandering, a run or a swim, and who knows what else. Normally, Euri'nach was a hard worker and loved weaving. She STILL loved it. Her position allowed her to contribute to her clan and feel needed. However, everyone enjoyed having a day to themselves: a day to simply relax. No real commitments.
Swinging expertly down from her personal hammock, Euri'nach paid a quick visit to her father, and had a short conversation... before she walked off to find herself some fruit for the morning.- - - - - -
The wood was so beautiful; so tranquil, and very much her home. The sound of distant, exotic animals made the Na'vi female feel even more at peace and content. Sometimes she often wondered what her life would be like if she'd chosen to take after her father; become a warrior, or perhaps even a hunter. Maybe she might have been able to help her mother. Maybe even save her. Spotting some lingering fruit in a neighboring tree top - Euri'nach examined it for a moment, before fluidly jumping up, and scaling the tree from branch to branch until she reached the fruit. Settling there in a crouched position, she began picking some of it. Returning to her thoughts... it occurred to her that if her father couldn't even have saved her mother's life, what chance did she have? Naturally, it was nobody's fault. Things happened, and with that particular battle, they were all just lucky to be alive. A lot of their people were lost needlessly... but fate had it's own course to run.
Flicking her eyes up, her ears perked as she thought she could hear movement further ahead. Standing, the female began to walk - traveling on the thick, large branches above.
A piece of fruit was still in her hand as she moved with ease... before she stopped, hearing yet another sound in the distance. It wasn't any kind of animal call, but rather the sound of branches breaking. A traveler. Quirking a brow, Euri'nach went to investigate out of pure curiosity. After all, there was no need for concern; the sound was not frantic or overbearing. Tossing her fruit aside for now, the female Na'vi used her hands and feet to travel faster and with better agility as she weaved through the tree tops and branches. Catching the movement again with her sharp eyesight, Euri'nach stopped and quietly observed. Below, she saw Na'vi. But they were not her people... they wore clothing.
Avatars.
Tilting her head, the female observed the small group as they moved; examining the forest. Some carried notepads and odd looking instruments, and two had weapons. Swinging down a few levels silently, the lithe female continued to move - venturing around the group as she watched curiously. Her tail twitched with intrigue as she ventured even closer. But one snap of a branch above - caused one of the Avatar's to turn in her direction, pointing the rifle at her nervously.
Granted, the female was quick to move out of sight.... but startled by seeing a form in the treetop above them, the human-avatar shot; the bullet ricocheting off a neighboring branch. But it was no where near Euri'nach. She was already hiding within the foliage of another tree, still watching - though her heart was beating a little faster now.
Her large ears could hear the sounds of raised voices; not angry, but agitated, perhaps because of the single, nervous shot fired. Normally, a shot like that might have startled other Na'vi back to their own territory. And the thought did cross Euri'nach's mind. However, there were no further shots, and the action had seemed to come from a place of unknown fear - rather than actual fear. Perhaps she'd startled the group. While it would have been the time to quietly venture off... Euri'nach's strong curiosity kept her there. Perhaps she could get another look at the group without startling them.
