Alright, so I have my lovely character - Euri'nach (click for bio), who is up for potential plotting.
I enjoy deep plots and ones with lots of potential - be it for blossoming friendships, learning, romance, adventure, enemies, etc.
Basically, Euri'nach is a simple weaver in the Aylukana clan, and is general a collected, young Na'vi who is curious about the humans - and attempting to find her place and purpose in this lifetime.
There are some great characters on this board, and I hope to have the opportunity to plot with you ^^
I started an open thread with Euri'nach (found h e r e), so if anyone would like to jump in, I would appreciate it a lot, haha. It's kind of set up to involve some humans in their avatar forms... but other Na'vi could also come in, and perhaps observe with Euri'nach - or interact with her in some way.
Anything is good ^^

Well: my application is as yet a work in progress. -But lending the assumption that the Admin find my application acceptable, or there is not too much need to for extensive revision, soon enough there'll be my Itanecrio to treat with!
Your weaver now: it's hard to find some way to provoke such a well-rounded and mature seeming character. It's difficult to find the flaws and seta fire in there, to create some healthy conflict that will result in a great thread. But I respect and admire male-writers willing to open their hearts and write females. This is my first opportunity to do so, and I'm not going to pass it up. there is an awful lot I can learn here, and which I'm certain will result not only in good reading, but useful lessons!
Plot: perhaps Euri'nach is attracted to Itanecrio because of his apparent heroism, or his reckless self-destructionism... perhaps he is the ultimate fixer-up-er... You can educate me on this aspect of conjecture. How could she possibly be drawn to interact with the frightfully tall and physically imposing, grey-skinned Tuyeteira that enterred the Aylukana domain?
Amongst his own people, Itanecrio is positively emotional and gentle: but the Tuyeteira are a frightful clan, dire in fact. Eaters of their own deceased, woman-ruled, and barbaric -or so the prejudices might be. So as intuitive and emotional as Itanecrio might be compared to others of his clan, he would seem like a violent angel.
What I want to explore is the difficulty of foreign cultures. Between Na'vi cultures.
In Itanecrio's culture, all of those qualities and traits we, you and me as "westerners", term "masculine" are those the Tuyeteira consider feminine. Itan's culture is matriarchal, and the females assert rigid domination, and practice the custom of hosting their males in Harems. Also: and this is especially important, his culture is the farthest removed from any sense and communion with Eywa. Where they live in the remoteness and cold, strength is the only quality required to survive. Imagine a man from that culture being confronted with a lady-like Na'vi with an altogether tollerant nature, well rounded character, and healthy relationship with Eywa! Anyway. divulge what thoughts this provokes.

Thanks for responding! lol
So in terms of the 'attraction' thing, it would have to depend on a) if they already knew each other, since she isn't the kind of female to just fawn over the heroic Na'vi she happens to see.... and b) the length of time they might have known each other.
You'll notice in her bio that she already had her heart dashed when feelings of love and admiration were not returned by a particular male when she was a bit younger. This has kind of set her back in terms of openly showing her heart to others, and being quick to fall into any sort of romantic feelings. Why set yourself up for being hurt again, right? It's not that I'm adverse to the idea, but it seems like it would be setting Euri'nach up for some kind of heartache... AGAIN... to have this one-sided affection lol
The fixer-uper isn't a bad idea, though to begin with - any attempts she might make at trying to help him control his anger/better himself in any way would be purely out of friendship at first; i.e. just wanting to help her kind in any way she could (despite the fact they are not from the same clan). If they somehow ran into each other, she would not immediately think that he meant her harm - despite what his body language or attitude might suggest. I am getting this 'beauty-and-the-beast' vibe lol... where he seems to have those issues, while she is on a calmer front, but his aggregation may serve to annoy, or provoke, her in the wrong way due to his negativity.
I think because they are from two different backgrounds that their interaction could be quite intriguing. Let me know, and if you want, you can feel free to throw him into my open thread if it strikes you... when you are accepted, of course ^^

I'm definately all for the angle of a non-romance association -and dear Silmaneero is working to help knock my application-profile into shape.
I propose a surprisingly simple instance for our two characters to meet: now this is precisely the sort of world-building that is making my application a bit of a tricky one for Silmaneero, but what if the Tuyeteria do not wear their "Queue" in a queue? What if they leave theirs worn wild and wooly? -That is until they deliberately go out, as rite of passage- to bond a mount. So: Itan would need to learn how to weave his hair, right?

Hi Euri'nach! Hey. sorry to hold you up on the prospective topic! I'm still busily working towards a character profile... so you feel free to write with one of the others in the mean-time, and I'll get back to you once I've got my character working properly. Thanks!
