Personality:
Withdrawn. Kale is one of the more reclusive type than anything. She rarely speaks to those around her and tries to avoid conversations entirely. It's not that she is completely shy, it's just the fact that she would rather listen to a discussion play out before her than speak her piece in one. Maybe it's the fact she lacked human interaction as a child. Maybe not.

Independent. You will never see this Avatar ask for anything at all. She is too much too prideful to go around accepting gifts from her comrades or getting others do her dirty work. This makes her more of the do-it-yourself kind of girl.

Headstrong. Don't under estimate her. Kale may be small, but she is hellbent to get what she wants. Her mind is set to find and retrieve what she is looking for - big or small. If you have something she wants Kale won't rest until it is in her clutches.

Workaholic. Work. Work. Work. That seems to be all that swims through this girl's mind. She'll accept any job no matter how dangerous or crazy it may be. When it comes down to it, Kale won't trust anyone with a task but herself. If you're looking for someone to fill in your position for a while then now you know who to look for. Be wary though, it may cost you something you consider important.

Cautious. Kale is wary around other people and always on her guard. She has put a barrier between herself and others as a result. She is always on the look out for any suspicious behaviors or actions.

Quick-tempered. Have you ever tackled a full grown tiger and tried to pluck out it's whiskers? Well if you have then you will kind of have an idea of how Kale is when you make her angry. It doesn't take much to set this firecracker off. Sometimes the sillies things can feed the flames that gnaw away inside of her. She's similar to a landmine, actually. If you step on her the wrong way she'll go off and everyone around her faces the fury. Just watch what you say and do around her.

Intelligent. Some may think Fletcher is one of the dullest of the their Avatar colleagues. Boy are they wrong. Kale's greatest ability is her brains. She is brilliant with numbers and can solve equations quick and easy in her head. This can really come in handy on the battlefield too. Math isn't only her hot spot. Her strategies and fighting tactics can be lethal to almost any party. She is definately fitted for the title 'brains over brawn.'

Loyal. To those few who happen to befriend Kale: She will forever be by your side. Whether it's in the heat of battle or when you're falling apart, Fletcher will be there to guide you through it. She'd gladly take a bullet for those she holds dear to her.

Adventurous. This valiant marine is always up for a challenge and a chance to prove her worth. She is bold when it comes to exploring the vast unknown. All in all, she'd be thrilled to recieve the opportunity of a new expedition out into the wilderness.

History:
Kale's parents, Sara and Kale Fletcher I, lived a decent life in Canada. The father worked as a full time engineer for a small machine company in Vancouver while Sara worked as a house cleaner. Both received little pay, but ended up earning enough money to buy a tiny house in the outskirts of Vancouver.

Kale started to look for new work, however. Sara was now pregnant with Kale the second and their jobs just weren¡¯t making ends meet for them. They decided to look toward America for work.

Sara had wanted the family to be legally imported into the country to start a new life, but every time they sent in a form it was declined. The United States just didn¡¯t want another low class family. This is when he got the news of the RDA¡¯s first expedition to Pandora. They were recruiting experienced engineers to work at Hell¡¯s Gate and were glad to import the family if Kale served on Pandora for three years time. He would be gone fifteen years in all.

Kale Fletcher II was born four days before the family was imported to the United States and eight days before Kale the first boarded for his six year voyage to Pandora.

Sara and Kale were now legal US citizens. The mother and daughter moved to an apartment in New York. Sara continued to work as a hired house keeper always bringing her baby Kale along. She was paid minimum wage, but managed to keep food on the table.

Eight years passed of this before Sara found out her husband was missing. He had gone out with a group to test out a new mining machine. The group never came back. Kale, being only eight years old, didn¡¯t understand what this meant, but she noticed a change in her mother. She was now feeble and dull to be around. Sara had entered a stage of depression which only grew worse.

By the age of fifteen, Kale had gotten used to her mother being sick. The two didn¡¯t have a very good relationship. Kale now thought of it as a chore to take care of her mother, who rarely spoke. She had to drop out of school to find a job to earn money for the family while Sara stayed at home just staring at the ceiling.

Kale wasn¡¯t like most teenagers. She was used to silence at home and she kept to herself. She would work everyday and come home at dark to take care of Sara. She never went out to the local clubs and rarely showed her face in public at all. She didn¡¯t know anyone her age and didn¡¯t seem to care.

A few months later Sara died. Kale didn¡¯t seem to be phased. Instead she left New York to train as a marine. She was now determined to go to Pandora to find her father. Maybe he had survived.

Kale served in the Marines as a Rifleman for three years before she was offered the opportunity to serve for the RDA in Pandora. She gladly accepted the offer to go and sent in a sample of her DNA for Avatar creation. She then went through the Avatar program's training course before finally boarding the ship that would take her to Pandora.

She went through six years of cryogenic sleep before finally reaching the moon, Pandora.As of now, Kale is new to the moon and is currently working for the RDA as a marine. She is about to test out her Avatar for the first time.
