Speaks: 000033
Race: Na'vi
Clan: Itami
Position: Olo'eyktan (Leader)
Appearance:
Tukru is a prime example of the Na’vi. He stands at a massive 10’3” and has a broader chest than most of his people. His arms are built well and have their share of small scars from his years. His muscles are well defined, but still have the grace the Na’vi are known for. His skin is a shade darker than most, his markings clearly shown this way. His eyes have a tinge of copper to them, but this can only really be seen if looking into them closely. His ears constantly are on the move, always searching for any sound that shouldn’t be there, or if a sound leaves that should be there. Tukru has a strong chin and square jaw, giving him a very willful look. His hair is a large mane of dreadlocks, the thick hair wound into robes that have been beaded at the ends with various shades of tan and purple. His Queue blends very well within this mane of hair, though it does still stick out visibly from the dreadlocks.
He has a series of simple tattoos on his skin, his shoulders have tiny intricate, interconnected swirls on them that go down his back midway that ends in a point, as well as going down his arms to his elbows where they also end in a point. These tattoos have taken ten years to add, each year since he was sixteen Tukru has had more added on. These tattoos are not his most defining mark though. Across his chest there are three very large scars that go from his left shoulder down to just above the right side of his waist. These scars are a stark white on his dark skin, allowing them to stand out even more.
Like all Na’vi, he keeps clothing to a minimum. His loincloth consists of a braided rope that sits on his hips and two longer, square shaped cloth flaps that cover his crotch and his rear end. A small hole at the very top of the rear cloth flap allows his tail to still move freely. His forearms have braces that he uses for defense purposes when needed, the left one has a scabbard for a knife built into it. Both his ankles have braided anklets with small, pointed teeth that hang off of it. His biceps have dark red armbands on them, three on his right arm, two on his left. Tukru wears two necklaces, both have a leather band but each have a different item on it. The first has a curved claw about four inches long and the second has a clear blue gemstone on it. This gemstone has been passed down to each Olo’eyktan, and Tukru wears it with pride.
His most valued items though are his weapons. A leather bandoleer has three loops in it to house these weapons, the bandoleer has faded dark red paint on it in intricate swirls similar to his tattoos. The weapons carried in it are three spears, two short and one longer. Made strong with a razor-sharp tip, the heads each have two feathers, one green, and one blue on the wide end of them where the head meets the spear shaft. Like the arrows the Na’vi are so fond of, Tukru dips the heads of his spears in the same poison. These spears are known as Takuk, and like the gemstone necklace, are handed down to each Olo’eyktan.
Personality:
Tukru is a very amiable man. Even though he is the Olo’eyktan, he holds no arrogance over the position, he is humble and completely devoted to the Itami and Eywa. It is very difficult to upset Tukru, being one of the most patient people one would ever meet. There are two things guaranteed to instantly anger him though, the first being anything that tries to harm the people of his Tribe, and the other, more serious offense would be to even talk about hurting Lanak.
Ever since Tukru first met her, he has been completely devoted to her. He would do anything and everything for Lanak, and trusts her wisdom more than anything else. Even after years at her side, whenever he hears, smells, or sees Lanak, a big grin touches his lips and he feels his pulse speed up a hair, eternally pleased to see his mate. He can be a bit feisty with her, affectionate nibbles and gentle massages common when around his mate. When it comes to sleeping, Tukru is a very light sleeper, and he flat out won’t get a wink of it if Lanak isn’t lying next to him. He always spoons her when they’ve fallen asleep, but always runs his hand up and down her arm to help her relax, always sure that she’s asleep before he is.
He makes a point to roam around camp in the morning, whether it be to help his Tribe with various chores that need to be done, socializing with them, helping prepare food, or playing with children, Tukru makes sure his people know that he is there and always willing to help. He enjoys eating meat more so than anything else, and prefers to have company when he is eating- whether it be Lanak or anyone else from his Tribe.
When it comes to the Sky People- Tukru is wary. He listens to everything Lanak has to say about them, and usually keeps to short, simple statements when dealing with them. Though he doesn’t necessarily hate them, Tukru far from trusts them. He’ll be polite for the most part, if not a tad condescending. Way Tukru sees it, Sky People are small and weak, not to mention foolish. When they meet up with their Avatars though, Tukru gets more on edge, he knows they aren’t as agile nor strong as the Na’vi when dreamwalking, he is smart enough to realize that they are more of a threat in that form than their human one. Tukru prefers to keep human interaction to a minimum until they see what their motives are- though he’d prefer they just left and never came back.
